Later in the Week
- Monday/Tuesday: Moon in the sign of Taurus: Seasonal color and vegetables
- Tomatoes are one of a few plants you want plant deep .so you need to dig a cylinder shape hole and bury the plant down to the second set of leaves.
- For summer color, Zinnias, Vinca Rosea, and Salvia are now available for planting.
- Wednesday/Thursday: Moon in the sign of Gemini: Plant Vines
- Climbing roses are in bud and bloom at your favorite garden center. It’s a good time to view them even if you’re not ready to plant. Also, take a few pictures with your smartphone and use the digital history as a reference later.
Other Things To-do
- It’s a good time to reseed bare spots and thicken up thinning lawns. For bare spots, I would reseed the blank areas; however, for thickening, you need to reseed the entire area. Also, in those areas that are shady, I’d use a shade mix and blend the seed into the sunny areas.
