Gardening by the Moon Weekend To-Do
An idea as old as agriculture, based both folklore and superstition but there are scientific ideas to back it up.
- Lunar Phase: Waxing Half begins on Saturday, December 27: Happy New Year
- Saturday-Sunday: Moon in the sign of Aries -
- ENJOY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Later in the Week
- Cold nights will cause citrus to yellow and drop some of their leaves, so don’t be concerned. It’s also not unusual for plants next to each other to react differently to the temperatures because the microclimates do vary.
Other Things To-do
- You need to remove any of the fallen leaves and/or other debris in the landscape that's has accumulated during the holiday period. If left, the matted organic matter becomes a good breeding place for problems later on.
