Later in the Week
- Monday -Thursday: Moon in the sign of Taurus - Plant seasonal color
- With the growing season concluded, plant seasonal color close to one another to avoid the area from looking sparse during the winter months. This is an ideal time to plant Flowering Kale and Cabbage, as the cool temperatures enhance the vivid colors.
Other Things To-do
- Now is an excellent time to plant new perennials or add new ones to existing areas. Iberis, Palodsum Daisy, Foxglove, Larkspur, Coreopsis, and others, planted now, will bloom this coming spring.
- Finally, fall is the time to plant California natives, such as Buckwheats, Ceanothus, Toyons, and native bunch grass.
