An idea as old as agriculture, based both folklore and superstition but there are scientific ideas to back it up.
- Lunar Phase: Waxing Half begins on Wednesday, August 19
- Saturday-Monday: Moon in the sign of Libra - Plant seasonal color
- Mandevilla is a summer-flowering vine characterized by its large, showy flowers. It is relatively easy to maintain. The primary care requirements include deadheading the flowers and pruning to maintain its desired shape.
- Zinnias, Vinca Rosea, and Victorian Salvia are available for planting. When planted now, these annuals will continue to bloom until early December or the first very cold night.

- Tuesday - Wednesday: Moon in the sign of Scorpio - Best all-around planting days
- During the summer and fall, it is advisable to water your plants in their original containers before transplanting. The optimal time for watering is the evening before or a few hours before transplanting.
Other Things To-do
- Spinosad, an organic control, effectively manages worms on Lettuce, Tomatoes, Geraniums, Petunias, and other plants.
- Boxwood, Privet, Photinia, and Escallonia require frequent pruning to maintain their compact form. Irregular pruning can create gaps in the hedge’s symmetrical shape.
